“  After 25 years in the same property, my wife informed me she never liked our house, it did not have enough Character, to which I replied I liked a low maintenance house that did not surprise you with any unexpected additional costs. Perhaps it was this reply that ensured we were suddenly moving house. Soon we were agreeing a process of putting our house on the market via a Mr Wilson and explaining our needs for a character property to move into with a Mr Hill, both these characters I later discovered were one and the same Richard Trimbee.I explained early on that I would not be hassled and rushed, that we would only move if we located a property that met both of our requirements , I did not wish to find ourselves having a buyer and a timetable but no house to buy. The selling part of our move could not have been easier, lovely pictures of the property and a physical brochure, a week later twenty viewings and a couple of offers to show for the activity. Looking at the brochure we were even tempted to buy our existing property.  So part 1, completed.Richard Trimble and the team at Wilson Hill had a good understanding of what we were looking for in a new property and we looked at a number of properties both from their books and other Estate agents, and they finally put a property aside for us, which was perfect.However this is then where Richard and the team really show their worth, you have a buyer and you have fallen in love with a new home, but this is where both you and your buyer have numerous queries, when was the septic tank emptied, how thick is the insulation, can we look at any previous planning permission granted, there seems a discrepancy on the boundaries, would the neighbours mind if we land a microlight on the garden on Sunday mornings. Throughout this exploration stage, Richard Trimbee and the team were very proactive in getting answers speedily within a 24 hour window, significantly reducing the stress and apprehension in built in this process.So in summary we had a very good experience in both selling and buying through Wilson Hill, and this was in no small part, due to the fact that Richard and the team were understanding of our needs and very attentive and active in dealing with all questions and issues that arose.
