SPUD 2006 – 2017

Hello all you lovely people

It is with great sadness that we must share some sad news – our very special furry friend, Spud, has passed away.

We no longer compete for the comfiest bed or the best bit of sunny space, and our room in the back office of Wilson Hill is a very lonely place. A key member of the business, loyal friend and family member – we shall never forget her.  In her honour, I thought I would share a few happy memories of my dear friend.

We were not previously working dogs but when the Partners started up Wilson Hill we were only too keen to be involved and became the ‘Canine Partners’ of the business. This was when I first met Spud, about four years ago. I think we hit it off straight away really. Of course, she was bigger than me and with all that curly brown fur but we had lots in common…..our love of basking in the sunshine…….of cheese and gravy bones and we had lots of fun times. Highlights that spring to mind are pancake day, oh we had such fun with Harriet and Square flipping those pancakes. And then there was Wimbledon, playing with all those tennis balls, and we always enjoyed any photo shoot……which inevitably resulted in lots of gravy bones!

I miss her already and my world is a quieter place without her, rest in peace old Spud.
